Week
11, Tuesday 25th September
Oh
My God, Week eleven already!
The
weather today has been awful; chucking it down all day and absolutely freezing.
I gritted my teeth and got well wrapped
up for tonight’s 4 mile run. Kath couldn’t
make it as she’s on nights but I ran it with Sam.
I
forgot to bring any routes and there still didn’t seem to be any available at
the club but luckily I remembered Sue saying that the hospital run was still 4
miles even though we had moved since it was first routed.
We
ran along to Lime Kiln lights and turned left up Werrington Road. My legs mustn’t have recovered properly from
Sunday because I was struggling with the banks and when we finally got up to
the hospital, we both stopped to walk for a bit. It really seemed tonight.
Anne
told me that we should not have tried to run Potters’ Arf as part of training and
if she had known we were going to do that she would have advised us not to. Well, it’s too late now so I hope that I haven’t
fatigued my legs too much for Sunday’s race.
